Terminal Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper Book 4 eBook JL Bryan

Terminal Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper Book 4 eBook JL Bryan
Yet another fun and captive adventure in the Ellie Jordan series. I only give 5 stars to those top-tier writers (King, Koontz, Twain, etc) but find Bryan's work to be a great second-tier author. On that second tier (B-List) level it's an easy 5.The Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper series has been fun to date. Easy to read, yet deeply engaging, you'll find hours have passed by the time you look up from the pages (or Kindle screen). Bryan's ghost hunter is a charming young woman, not scared (well, she is) of anything - or more to the point, human, scared, and still a tough lady not willing to back down. She's a great female lead.
Each book is set in another Savannah "haunt-spot" with new ghosts, new histories, new terrified families, and the same tough Ellie willing to take it on to keep them safe. Bryan is great at pealing the onion, feeding the story in just the right amounts of information, moving the story along at an engaging and shut grabbing pace.
I began 4 books ago with a book I'd gotten from being an Amazon Prime member; it was free, so grabbed it. When I was looking at my options for something fun to read I gave it a chance. In the time since I have completed each book in the series only to quickly grab up the next one, loading my Kindle, and getting ready for the latest in Ellie's life. It's been well worth the price of admission.

Terminal Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper Book 4 eBook JL Bryan Reviews
Another home run for J. L. Bryan. A great paranormal adventure and a fun read. But beware after reading the Ellie Jordan adventures you may find yourself looking over your shoulder when walking through your home after dark. These are the best ghost stories I've read.
I hope the author keeps them coming.
I have the next one downloaded, and I'm delaying reading it because I'm still thinking about "Terminal" and how good it was.
Ellie Jordan is one of my favorite characters right now. I love to see her new relationship with Michael and to see her revisit old characters like Juniper. I would love to see more of juniper in the future and to see her develop into an intern to Ellie! Stacy has really fleshed out into a great character! This story was very spooky and fun! I loved the train robbery aspect! This was a great story!
Although I don't believe in ghosts, and am the most scientific, secular-minded person around, I LOVE ghost stories. Ellie Jordan is a ghost hunter and with her co-worker, Stacey (who can be so annoying that you sometimes wish a ghost whipped her into one of Ellie's ghost traps - and kept the lid on). No deep characters or serious literary aspirations here, just really juicy brain candy when you feel like just lying on the sofa with a cup of tea and a *Goose Creek) candle on the table and read ... until you hear the door squeaking... and the steps creaking...
Good Lord!!! What else can I say about a book that has me screaming out loud at the main character, questioning her sanity but never her bravery.
Ellie and Stacey are back and they are ready to take on the bad guys. I love that Jacob and Michael are more involved in the action and that the relationships are developing. J L Bryan gives us a story with everything you come to expect from his books. Great main characters, wonderful secondary characters, a touch of romance, humor, and lots of fright filled scenes. You've got to appreciate a writer that can make you feel sorry for the same characters that are scaring the heck out of you. Ellie and Stacey are a couple of gutsy ladies and their adventures are so entertaining.
The Ghost Trapper series has been great and I'm looking forward to book 5.
I just finished this book (#4 in the series) and can hardly wait to begin book 5!!! In my opinion, these books keep getting better and better. That said, there could have been just a WEE bit more closure with the couple who actually hired Ellie and her crew to help with their ghost problem. But, the action with the ghosts in this book was SO engrossing that maybe the author realized there wasn't much to add where the humans were concerned. LOL However, this was just a very minor point and the story was wrapped up nicely enough. I also appreciated the banter between Ellie and the other characters because, let's face it, a little humor is always a good thing. Especially in her line of work. Now, I must go begin book 5!!!!!!
Ellie is up to her neck in ghosts this time around. Not just one or two unhappy spooks but at least thirteen -- or is it twenty? Fortunately, Stacy, Jacob, Michael and Calvin step in when needed. This time around train robbers, lost love and the deaths of innocents figure into removing a banshee (energy sucker) from the house of a pregnant woman. I love the back story developed for the ghosts and how it all played into the history of Savannah. I delighted that a previously haunted family was a part of this story and showed how well they were doing after Ellie removed the ghosts. And, I really appreciated the slowly evolving romance with Ellie and Michael. Just the right touch -- as was the rest of the book. Fully satisfied (well, I would like Ellie and Calvin not to have to struggle so much financially).
Terminal is the fourth book in the Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper series, but it can be read as a stand alone as sufficient clarification of terms and ghost busting methods are being shared.
This story was VERY good and fascinating. Crazy spooky stuff happened on top of Ellie’s emotional (reading ‘love-life’) and professional issues. The interactions were again funny and witty. The plot was well thought out and expertly told. The haunted railroad, its history as well as Ellie’s daring solution to get rid of the evil and lesser evil entities were totally interesting.
(Spoiler Alert!) Expect some new developments for Eckhard Investigation’s future that will leave Ellie very uncomfortable.
Another Trapper Novel I can recommend if you devoured the previous books like I did. (I would’ve preferred a little more interaction between the two love birds … but that’s just me. Ellie and Michael’s initial awkwardness was really cute in the previous novel.)
